BetaFlow is operated by GTM Bot Inc. ("BetaFlow," "we," "our," or "us").
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the BetaFlow website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
BetaFlow is an AI climbing journal and coach for indoor climbers. The app helps you log sessions, track grades and attempts, review recaps, and request AI-powered grade help or coaching prompts.
2. Information We Collect
A. Account and Contact Information
- Name, email address, sign-in method, and account identifiers.
- Messages, support requests, survey responses, or other information you choose to send us.
B. Climbing Journal Content
When you use BetaFlow, you may provide climbing-related information such as:
- Session dates, gyms, climbing styles, grades, attempts, outcomes, sends, projects, notes, goals, and streaks.
- Route photos or other images you upload for AI grade help or session context.
- Recaps, feedback requests, AI prompts, and AI-generated coaching summaries.
C. Device, Usage, and Analytics Data
We may collect information about how the Services are used, including:
- Device model, operating system, app version, language, region, IP address, and approximate location derived from network information.
- Product events such as session started, climb logged, session ended, recap viewed, AI recap viewed, paywall viewed, and purchase completed.
- Crash logs, performance data, diagnostics, and other technical information used to keep the app working.
D. Purchases and Subscriptions
BetaFlow Coach purchases are processed by the Apple App Store, Google Play, or other payment providers. We receive subscription status, product identifiers, transaction identifiers, and related purchase metadata, but we do not receive your full payment card number.
E. Optional Integrations
If you choose to connect services such as Apple Health, HealthKit, Strava, or similar integrations, we collect only the information needed to support the integration you enable. For example, this may include workout, activity, or session-related data that helps BetaFlow build your journal, progress history, or training context.
We do not sell Apple Health or HealthKit data to third parties.
F. Third-Party SDKs and Service Providers
Our Services may use providers for infrastructure, analytics, crash reporting, AI processing, app store purchases, and customer support. These providers may process data on our behalf according to their own policies and our agreements with them.
3. How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, sync, and improve the BetaFlow app and website.
- Create session recaps, grade history, progress charts, goals, streaks, training load, and coaching summaries.
- Process AI route grade help, AI session analysis, and BetaFlow Coach features.
- Measure onboarding, product quality, retention, and conversion funnels.
- Process subscriptions, purchases, refunds, and free-plan limits.
- Respond to support requests, troubleshoot problems, and communicate service updates.
- Protect the Services from fraud, abuse, security incidents, and misuse.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. AI Features and Route Photos
BetaFlow uses AI features to estimate route grade ranges, summarize sessions, identify patterns, and provide practical coaching prompts. To provide these features, we may process your climbing logs, route photos, notes, goals, session history, and feedback requests.
Do not upload photos, notes, or prompts that contain sensitive personal information you do not want processed by BetaFlow or its AI service providers.
AI outputs are informational and may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are not medical, safety, training, or professional coaching advice.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in these limited situations:
- With vendors that help us operate the Services, including hosting, database, analytics, crash reporting, AI processing, app store purchases, and support tools.
- With Apple, Google, Strava, or other services when you use app store purchases or optional integrations.
- When required by law, subpoena, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, security, and integrity.
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protections.
- With your consent or at your direction.
6. Cookies and Website Analytics
The BetaFlow website does not use advertising cookies or ad pixels. We only load Google Analytics after you choose to allow lightweight website analytics.
If you decline analytics, the Google Analytics script is not loaded. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage so we do not need to ask on every visit.
We may also use technologies that are necessary to operate the website, keep it secure, remember basic preferences, or measure aggregate technical performance in a privacy-preserving way.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account and climbing history, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the Services.
You can request deletion of your account or personal information by emailing legal@betaflow.app. Some records may be retained where required for legal, security, accounting, fraud prevention, or backup purposes.
8. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

BetaFlow is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have data protection laws that differ from the laws where you live.
